Where to start

Start from the symptom, not the service name

Most people arrive here mid-emergency and are not sure which of the categories above describes what is happening in their house. The honest answer is that it usually does not matter — call and describe what you can see, and we will work it out. But if you would rather narrow it down first, the symptom is the fastest route.

  • Water on the floor right now. Extraction first, whatever the source turns out to be — see 24/7 emergency water removal and water extraction.
  • A warm patch on the floor, or a water bill that jumped with no change in usage. That combination is a hot-side slab leak until proven otherwise, and leak detection comes before anything else.
  • A stain or a bulge in a ceiling. Ceiling water damage if the source is plumbing above, roof leak restoration if it appears during or after storms.
  • Water that came in from outside. Storm damage cleanup or flood cleanup — and because it has crossed the ground, it is contaminated, which changes what can be saved.
  • Waste backing up into a shower, tub or floor drain. Sewage cleanup. Stop using every fixture in the house until it is looked at.
  • A musty smell weeks after a leak, or visible growth. Mold remediation — and the moisture source has to be found and corrected, or it comes back.
  • The tank in the garage let go. Water heater leak cleanup. Most garage slabs drain toward the interior door rather than the driveway.

Common to every job

What you get regardless of which service it is

The services differ in method. The way the job is run does not.

  • A free on-site assessment. No charge to come and look, and a written itemised estimate before non-emergency work starts.
  • A dry standard set on day one. We read unaffected materials of the same type elsewhere in the building, and that reading becomes the target every affected material is measured against daily.
  • Documentation built for your adjuster. Timestamped photographs, moisture maps, daily drying logs, equipment counts and run hours, and a written scope — created during the work rather than reconstructed afterwards.
  • Mitigation and reconstruction under one contract. Drywall, texture, paint, baseboard, insulation and flooring go back with the same company that dried the structure, so nobody hands you a half-demolished house and a list of numbers to call.
  • A straight answer about scope. Including when the job is small enough to handle yourself, and when what you actually need is a plumber or a roofer rather than us.

Not sure which one you need?

Describe what you're seeing and we'll tell you honestly — including when it's small enough to handle yourself.
